The relatives of a Pulitzer-winning playwright has filed a copyright infringement lawsuit in opposition to director Guillermo del Toro and Fox Searchlight alleging that the Oscar-nominated movie “The Condition of Water” is a duplicate of a 1969 enjoy.

“Let Me Listen to You Whisper”, which aired as a Television output approximately 50 several years ago, is also about a feminine janitor in a laboratory who bonds with a sea creature whom she attempts to preserve.

Additionally, the estate’s criticism seems timed to coincide with the Academy Award voting cycle in order to force our studio to promptly settle.
“Instead, we will vigorously protect ourselves and, by extension, this groundbreaking and initial movie.”
